After a busy couple weeks donations and free item pick up have slowed down. This coming week we are scaling back hours.
Tuesday and Thursday we will have 9:30 morning meeting to update about things happening in Spring Creek related to the hurricane clean up.
Shopping for the donated items will be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2-6pm. Email or call 828-585-7703 if you need different hours or someone to pick up for you.
There are no more fuel runs happening from the Community Center.
The SCCC is open Monday, Friday and Sunday 12-5, feel free to come in and use the gym kids play area or just hang out and use the wifi.
Clean up
We need anyone along the creeks with private land that is willing for trees and organic debris that gets pulled out of the river that can be burned in place. Please contact the community center if you will allow your land to be used for this.
General workÂ
There is a white board in the hallways at the SCCC where people can write down any needs they have for firewood or repairs, or also for anyone looking to hire help in their house. Please write yourself down or email/call the center to you yourself added to the list.
