Why did you choose Spring Creek for part of your business? My family has been here for generations. I had at the same time going through some life changes, and wanted to open my own restaurant. My family here was on the Community Center Board, and told me they had a vacant place available. So It seemed like it would be good for myself, the center, and the community.
What does community mean to you? Community to me is similar to family. Its banding together to solve some of the things that come up in life. Words that come to mind to this question, loyalty, friends, allies, teamwork, family.
How did you get into the work you do? Honestly, I was a journeyman butcher for whole foods, and all my friends worked at a particular restaurant. At 16, They seemed to be having way more fun than I was, and so I switched. I also grew up in a food lover house and was taught early about food.
How long have you been in your industry? I have been in the food service industry for about 30 years.
Do you live in Spring Creek? Surrounding area? I have lived in Spring Creek for a little over 10 years.
What do you love most about Spring Creek? The mountains and the community.
Do you have any pets? I do have dogs.
Is there anything unique about you that you would like to share with the SC community? I dont know what I could tell that I havent already told them lol.
