NC Works and AB Tech at SCCC

NC Works is coming to Spring Creek Community Center on the second Monday of every month from 12-3 p.m. in our new business center for a free drop-in resource session with workforce development specialists.

What is NC Works? NC Works is North Carolina’s public workforce system, connecting job seekers with local employers, career counseling, resume support, job training funding, and unemployment assistance. Whether you’re entering the workforce, re-entering after a gap, or ready to level up, NC Works provides personalized guidance to help you find your next opportunity.

What does AB Tech Madison offer? Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College (AB Tech) serves Madison County residents with affordable certificate programs, workforce training, GED and adult education, and continuing education courses. AB Tech representatives can help you explore pathways to in-demand careers in healthcare, trades, business, and more — right from your own community.

At this event you can:

• Learn about job openings and hiring events in Western North Carolina
• Explore workforce training and certification programs through AB Tech Madison
• Get help with your resume, job application, or interview skills

No appointment needed. This is a free, walk-in community resource event open to all Madison County and surrounding area residents.
