Donation Center: This week, the donation area of the community center will be open on Tuesday and Saturday from 2-6pm. Please note, the community center will not be open on Thursday. With Daylight Savings ending this weekend, we may adjust times going forward as it continues to get darker earlier and we do not have lights in

Bridge/Driveway funding: We have just heard from Rod Honeycutt (county manager) that FEMA may grant up to $34.5k for private bridge repair/replacement. According to Mr. Honeycutt, this funding is a grant, not a loan. Those interested need to go to the Disaster Readiness Center (DRC) at the Madison County Library in Marshall – 1335 N Main

New If you have a vehicle stranded due to a bridge washing out, let us know.  FEMA is helping coordinate getting ramps in so that cars can be moved to the road.  These will in no way be permanent structures, once the vehicles are across the creek, they will move those ramps to move the next

On Tuesday, October 15, Julie Mansfield will be at the Spring Creek Community Center between 12 and 3 pm, she can help with applying for FEMA disaster assistance, filing for unemployment (or disaster unemployment). Disaster unemployment is specific to area with a declared major disaster and can help when regular unemployment is not available. Just
