Craniosacral Meditation

This class will be held in the massage space in the Spring Creek Community Center. It is open to all. Monetary donations are welcome to pay the practitioners that are offering this class, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Biodynamic Craniosacral work is a physical, emotional, mental and physical healing modality. It’s a nervous system-regulating practice using simple holds and guiding the recipient into inner contact, to bring the body and nervous system back into alignment with innate health, vitality and resilience. 

Craniosacral work is particularly helpful for people who have recently experienced trauma, or have trauma in their past, as these traumatic experiences are stored as an unresolved charge in our nervous system. By unwinding these stores of charged life force, we can support, shift, and sometimes fully resolve the deeper causes of mental and physical illness, injury, and dis-ease. 
Craniosacral Therapy Group Classes are a way of connecting with our own capacity for health and wellness, letting our body and mind’s own intelligence and wisdom heal us through resonance. 

When we rest deeply into our safety, our nervous system lets go of vigilance around unhealed wounds, unprocessed emotions, pain and holding from old injuries, even energetic holding from as far back as birth can start to unwind.

What to expect in a Group Craniosacral Healing and Integration Class: 

At the start of the class we will guide you in a simple movement practice to open the muscles, skin, bone, lymph, energies. This will likely allow each of us to sink in more fully to the guided Craniosacral portion.

The movements we do together are gentle and fluid, cultivating inner awareness and flow. You are also welcome to just rest during the movement portion if that is what you need and prefer in the moment.

Then we will lie down into a comfortable “nest” you will each have created for yourself with pillows and blankets. We will drop into 45ish minutes of guided deepening with periods of silence for your own unique inner journey to unfold. 

Support through some physical contact/holding by us is available during the class and will be 100 percent at your choice and discretion. The class is equally effective with and without our touch.

There will be some time for optional sharing at the close.

*Please bring yoga mats, pillows, blankets etc as you are able to. There will also be some available on site for participants to use.
